I have been cat sitting as a favor for friends for most of my adult life. I really enjoy spending time with cats and giving their parents peace of mind when they are away.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Have an in person meet and greet when hiring a cat sitter. Meet and greets tell you so much about a sitter, you get to see how they interact with you and your animals, and how your animals respond to them. Do they come prepared with questions? Are they on time? Are they respectful of your cat’s boundaries?

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When working with a new cat parent, I like to begin with meeting the cat(s) and spending time with them while getting an overview of the cat’s personality, schedule and routine. After that, I like to do a tour of where everything I will need to keep kitty happy and healthy is. This is when I take notes about the schedule, where food, water, medications (if any) litter boxes and toys are kept, and write down specific instructions.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
