What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been pet sitting here and there for the last decade. It started with helping out professors at my college, and I did it for free too because I just loved cats and dogs so much!!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Just being there for the cats. If they need help and support and I can be there, who am I to say no? Also there’s literally no down side to fill up my phone with more and more cat photos and videos!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Communication is important! Let’s talk about cats! It would be best if medical history, recent vet visits, and some info on the cat’s behavior/personalities can be shared prior to the actual visits.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Of course! I’m usually around for holidays. I regularly update my calendar so if you see I am open, I’m up for it!

What is your favorite cat toy?

Those small springs that can distract most cats! Very helpful too if I’m visiting cats who should be indoors but are just too curious about the outside world.

Tao was the most attentive cat sitter and offered to help with other chores while I was away. Everyday I got cute cat photos and updates on what they were up to or if anything unusual was happening in the apartment. I will definitely be asking for his services again and would highly recommend!

Tao is a great sitter! He was very communicative during booking and scheduling, extremely thorough during the visit, and even more while sending real-time updates. He left the place as I left it, always letting me know if José had vomited or not. He took the waste out for trash day and even offered to water the plants! I lucked out with my availability working with Tao's and I would 100% book this sitter again.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
