What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting new cats and learning more about their likes and dislikes. It is really fun to see them play and cuddle(on their terms)

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 6 cats. Cantaloupe(orange tabby), Bob(tuxedo), Luna(siamese), Squiggles(tuxedo), Perdy(tuxedo)and jasmine(void). They are varying in ages but overall get along with each other. Luna and Cantaloupe (Canty for short) love to groom and cuddle together

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes. I am available during all major holidays. Weekends are typically open as well. I don't do a lot of traveling myself so my schedule is pretty open. If there is a specific date you need that I don't have open, I may be able to open it for you

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I take my time and wait for them to come to me if they want to. If they don't I will just sit in the room with them and speak in a quiet soothing voice

Emily is incredible! She quickly responded when I needed to make a change to my reservation and took the time to virtually meet me and my fur child before the actual visits. Everything we spoke about on the meet and greet she made sure to note in all of her updates throughout the reservation and included plenty of pics! My cat has lots of energy and I was nervous she wouldn’t have enough play time while I was away but Emily made sure to really tire her out each visit. She’ll be my go-to any time I need a sitter!

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
