I’ve always been around cats, and funny enough, most of my close friends are cat owners too! I’ve done plenty of cat sitting for friends, so I’m comfortable caring for different cats and their unique personalities.
When I visit, my goal is to make your cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home... Hi everyone! I’m Ray, also known as an orange cat dad to my one year old orange boy 🧡🐈
I’ve always been around cats, and funny enough, most of my close friends are cat owners too! I’ve done plenty of cat sitting for friends, so I’m comfortable caring for different cats and their unique personalities.
When I visit, my goal is to make your cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home. I’m happy to follow their usual routine, whether that means feeding, refreshing their water, cleaning the litter box, playing with their favorite toys, or just keeping them company. If your cat is more shy or independent, I’m happy to let them warm up to me at their own pace.
I’m super chill, down-to-earth, and attentive to the little things. I know how much our pets mean to us, so I’ll treat your cat with the same love and care I’d want someone to give my own. I’m also happy to send updates and pictures during visits so you can have peace of mind while you’re away!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Most of my friends have cats so I’ve been cat sitting for a while, sometimes would have to cat sit for several days. I would say I have been cat sitting for several years now and also including caring for my own cat.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a one year old orange kitty and his name is Chip. He gets really shy with new people and will go to hide but once he’s adjusted to you he gets very cuddly. Chip has a very independent personality most of the day he’ll be around the house minding his own business but also he’ll be interested in seeing what I’m doing and wanting to play.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When meeting a new cat, I like to learn a little about their personality, daily routine, and how they typically react to new people. Some cats are super friendly right away, while others need a little more time and space to warm up, so I adjust my approach to whatever makes them feel most comfortable. I’ll let them come to me at their own pace, use toys or treats if the owner allows, and build trust through patience and positive interactions. Of course, I’ll make sure their feeding, fresh water, litter box, and other needs are taken care of, and I’ll keep you updated on how they’re doing during my visits!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Philadelphia cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
