I am a registered nurse who adores cats I’ve volunteered at shelters and have won over feral cats and made them adoptable. I’ve fostered cats for humane societies. I currently have 1 ginger kitty named Honey. With that being said rest assured I will love and care for your baby as if it were my own.

Update you if your kitty exhibits any signs of illness such as Upper respiratory infection (sneezing, watery nose) or not wanting to eat.
Provide updates as often and as little as you’d like.
I can send you photos of every feed I provide to ensure I am neither overfeeding or underfeeding your babies.
I understand not all kitties are the same and have unique routines for feeding & play. I will do my best to honor your requests.

I have 1 kitty named Honey, I adopted her at 2 years of age as a momma cat of 4 babies after fostering her. Fun fact she’s got tiny front legs like a munchkin cat.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Make me a list of your feeding schedule and requests. Love photos of your babies as well especially if there is multiple and similar in fur color. Tell me your odd requests! Your baby deserves to be cared for and pampered.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
1st visit entails a meet & greet. To make sure we are a perfect fit for eachother :) Get the kitties used to seeing an unfamiliar face and get the details on what you’d like done ^_^ New Clients** Payment can be post visit, whichever makes you feel the most comfortable :)
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
My mom actually has a timid cat that loves to be left alone. No pets, let her home to you. My approach is to try to get the kitty to come to me with their favorite treat. I can give and sit nearby. Have my hand near to ease their anxiety/ nerves. If pets aren’t their things that’s okay I won’t take it personal. I’ll still love them and show them safety with play and food. As much or as little as you’d like ofcourse.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Garland cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
