My name is Bridgette and being able to be with your loving and quirky cats every day is a blessing and a half. Especially when a shy or picky kitty companion accepts me. 😍🐈
I am a pet care provider full time and have been for years. I have had a national certification and even first aid/cpr for animals as well.
In the past I am what you call a foster fail and usually keep all those I try to "find homes for." .Currently just have my one cat and two dogs. Josey (Wells like the Eastwood movie) and she is a rescue found between two speed bumps when she was four weeks old. Melt your heart right? Bottle feed that wild kitty into the beast she is today. 🐯
I have worked with everyday short-haired domestic to Sphinx and Maine-coons. The vocal Ragdolls and never stop brushing me Russians.

At our meet and greet I will be wanting to know their quirks to ensure the only change to their day is me. Whether you prefer to tell me verbally or leave 7 pages front and back (did I age myself with that quip?)I am here to learn your preferences and to start earning your trust.
I always check that the water is fresh and the catboxes are clean. I know most of us don't like the smell of most wet canned food when it is fresh.. I know you won't like that stink 7 days later, so making sure those are cleaned and disposed of in recycling or trash is just part of my routine. I value the trust placed in me to be in my client's home and leave it as is or better than it was. So, yes, I will be sweeping up that litter on the floor. 😊
If you book me for a longer visit and your kitty is done tolerating my presence that day and walks off; I am still staying. 🐱🤣
I believe they miss the noise of people in the house.
That being said means turning on music or a podcast while sitting still for them to come and go, sniff me or lay on my chest and suffocate me as we listen to Hozier together is just part of what I do.
I want you as a cat mom/dad to be assured I care about their happiness.
I do send a lot of photos and videos during the visit and if you are okay not having 20 photos of Jellyroll? Please just tell me and I will adapt. I know you are on vacation so last thing I want to do is bug you. Unless they do something really adorable like yawn and I will snap a photo.
I hope to meet with you soon and have us come up with a plan for my visit that will give you a peace of mind and Salem all the salmon treats you allow him. 🐈

Bridgette was friendly, professional, responsive, reliable, and kept us updated with photos and videos of Alice, along with messages of what she did while visiting Alice. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Salt Lake City cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
