What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
There's something rewarding about ensuring a cat feels safe and comfortable in their own home while their owners are away. I take pride in making their experience pleasant and keeping in mind I’m helping a fellow pet owner feel at ease during their time away. I enjoy being a reliable support system -because it’s what I as a cat owner would want too!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When working with a new cat parent my main goal is to make sure I have all the information I need to make our cat sitting experience a positive one! First, its important for me to understand what an owner’s expectations are for the visit. Second, is making sure I have all the information I need to ensure the cat in my care is well attended. Last but not least is addressing any additional concerns an owner may have so they feel comfortable with the whole experience. With those priorities in mind, I’ve had great success with working with cat parent clients.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I treat both cats and your home with great care and responsibility. Its important for me to ensure that the safety and well being of your animal is my top priority. Doors and windows are secured during each visit, food and water refreshed, and litter attended to. I will follow any specific instructions the owner may have regarding security to ensure everything is safe and sound.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am available most holidays! Please consider booking with me for your long vacations or quick weekend trips knowing that I’ll be around.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I approach timid or anxious cats with lots of patience and sensitivity. I let them set the pace and never force an interaction. Cats are creatures of habit, so when meeting a stranger its important to give them space to observe and make their own conclusion that I am there to care for them. Over time these shy cats usually start to open up a little bit more and I do my best to build a relationship at their comfort level.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Woodbridge cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
