Hello, lovely pet parents! My name is Sam, and I am a trained Veterinary Assistant. Additionally, I am the founder of a non-profit cat rescue organization dedicated to helping more furry friends in need. I started rescuing cats independently over a decade ago and realized that I wanted to do more in order to help these animals. Subsequently, I worked to form a board of directors and successfully created the rescue as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. In January, the rescue became officially registered, and I am currently serving as the Executive Director. As the Executive Director, I manage the daily operations of the rescue and take care of anything else that needs to be done when we don't have enough volunteers to handle it. I'm incredibly passionate about cats and have dedicated my life to caring for them. In fact, my love for cats is so strong that I've transformed my home into a haven for them. I've converted my bathroom into a kitten room, complete with cat shelves, cat trees, and all the necessary equipment to keep them healthy and happy. As a dedicated rescuer, I often take in cats that need extra care or have yet to find a foster home through our rescue. These cats stay with me until they are healthy enough to be spayed/neutered and find a new, safe place to go. It's a responsibility that I take very seriously, and I'm always willing to go the extra mile to ensure these cats receive the love and care they deserve. My passion for animal welfare often requires me to travel to the Eastside to rescue orphaned bottle-baby kittens and abandoned young cats. Additionally, I frequently need to make multiple trips to the vet to ensure that the animals under my care are spayed and neutered. As a result, it has become crucial for me to have a job that allows me to be flexible with my schedule and to provide in-home pet-sitting services. Samuel did a wonderful job taking care of our senior cat Biscuit! Our cat is quite shy, but she quickly warmed up to Samuel and did play sessions with him during visits which was a nice surprise since she usually hides when new people come into the house. Samuel's photo and text updates were detailed as well!

I am so delighted with Samuel. My girl is a love muffin but my boy trusts NO ONE but me. In just a few days, Samuel had him out and about getting pets and treats. He was also very insightful about my boy's recovery from pancreatitis and went above and beyond by lugging in and putting away my HelloFresh and fetching my mail. There are some people who like cats, and some people who are true cat people. Samuel is the latter. You owe it to your babies to get Samuel to be your beastie sitter.

Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
