My name is Annie. I am a kitty mama to a sweet and adorable ginger FIV+ tripod who came to me four years ago, nearly feral and terrified of people. Now he’s the biggest snuggler, though he will always be a bit of a shy guy!

My full-time career is in social work and I love it. I am currently in the final year of my masters of social work at UW.
My approach with kitties is calm, quiet, and slow. I like to let them set the pace and be a calming presence while their people are away. That being said, I do love a good interactive play session too!
My biggest priority is to ensure your kitties safety and comfort while you are away. 🐱💜

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Really open and transparent communication. I want to know all the details about what will make you feel comfortable with me coming to your home and caring for your pet!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I like to sit nearby quietly and let them get accustomed to my scent and present. Maybe offer a treat. I never pressure a shy kitty to come out or come close. They will do that in their own time!

Annie was absolutely fantastic! We have a 1 year old orange cat & a 9 year old with kidney disease. Annie gave us great pictures/videos & important updates with how our kitties were doing. Communication with Annie was great & she's a very sweet & caring person. I 100% trust her with giving my fur babies great care & attention!! Also she's very comfortable giving cats medicine if needed which was a relief to hear after our 1 year old hurt himself 2 days before we had to leave. Annie is amazing!!!

Annie is a fantastic cat sitter! I'm so thankful for her care and attention to my two cats. On our first visit I felt completely reassured in leaving them in her care. I could immediately tell she has a true love of animals and will love your babies like her own. On top of the fun stuff (playing and snuggling) I was so happy to see the litter boxes were well kept and food messes cleaned up. She kept me regularly updated on how they were doing with fun pictures and videos which made for a much more relaxing trip knowing they were so well cared for. I'd absolutely recommend Annie to anyone, and will certainly be needing her sitting again in the future. Thank you, Annie!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Madison cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
