"I was very nervous to leave my cat for so long, as I had never been apart from her for more than 4 days before or left her with a stranger (usually friends took care of her), but Mary responded so quickly to my booking request and that anxiety started to leave my body. Later, when I met Mary during our meet n greet and saw her interact with my cat. My cat is not always social with new people, but she was instantly sniffing and hugging Mary's legs. I felt good. I was especially impressed and relaxed by Mary's own experience with semi-feral cats. (I adopted mine as an adult and I never learned her "origin story" but I suspect she was a street cat). She is calm and communicative with cats in a way that they immediately respond to. Every day during my trip, Mary sent many pictures for both breakfast and dinner visits. I could even see in the photos that over the course of these visits that Mary was able to get my little creature out of her shell. Playtimes involved more belly-up time, less under the couch time, and Mary and my cat spent more time on the floor together. The one time something mildly negative (truly so small and outside of anyone's control) happened, she communicated quickly with the situation, how my cat responded, and how she handled the situation and my cat's spiked anxiety. The way that time zones worked out, I'd get breakfast visit pics from Mary after dinner during my trip or closer to bedtime, and this truly made a huge difference in my ability to relax on vacation. I really cannot recommend Mary enough!!!"

She went above and beyond her duties as a Meowtel temporary cat Mommy, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she gave Loki and Whiskers. I knew she had taken excellent care of my cats when I came home after being away for a week and they barely seemed impressed to see me! They didn’t follow me around the house or cry for attention like they normally do when I return from a trip. Instead, it was business as usual for them — which told me they had been happy, comfortable, and well cared for while I was gone. Shaghayegh also took wonderful care of the house. When I walked through the door, I was honestly shocked that there was no strange “animal” smell. With the windows closed for a week, the hot weather, and the lack of air circulation, I expected the house to have that stuffy pet smell I’ve experienced after previous trips. "We have worked with Carrie a few times but this was our first long reservation with her (10 days). Everything went smoothly, my cats Lola and Laurel both have pre existing health conditions (well under control but can be exacerbated by stress) and Carrie monitored them closely for potential signs and symptoms. One day Laurel started having some unusual litter box issues (it was not clear if she was developing urinary symptoms, which she is prone to, or if she was constipated) and Carrie immediately brought those issues to our attention. We were able to troubleshoot together, thankfully it was nothing serious and Carrie was able to pay our cats an additional visit that same day to give them extra attention and to make sure Laurel was feeling better. We were hugely reassured and very grateful for her attentiveness and availability. In addition, I was positively surprised by how easy it was to book an additional visit for the same day on the fly on the Meowtel portal, I had never needed to do that before. We were thrilled to be able to work with Carrie again, the peace of mind she was able to give us while we were on vacation was unparalleled and we look forward to working with her in the future. One of our cats, Colby, has chronic kidney disease and requires a very specific care routine, including subcutaneous fluids, medication, and a specialized diet. One of our cats, Colby, has chronic kidney disease and requires a very specific care routine, including subcutaneous fluids, medication, and a specialized diet. Denise handled all of this with confidence and expertise, clearly drawing from her veterinary/med tech background. She was also extremely thoughtful in managing the different dietary needs of both of our cats, ensuring everything was done correctly and consistently. Our other cat can be a bit more particular with new people, but Denise was incredibly patient, intuitive, and respectful of his personality—something we truly appreciated. It’s clear she has a natural ability to read and connect with animals. Throughout the stay, Denise provided excellent communication and updates, which gave us a lot of reassurance. We also came home to a spotless house and two very happy, well-cared-for cats. We trust Denise completely in our home and with our pets, and we will absolutely continue working with her.
