What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
🐱 I’ve been a professional cat sitter for over three years, caring for cats of all ages and personalities—from playful kittens to shy seniors and everything in between. I also have three cats of my own, so caring for felines is part of my everyday life! My experience working for a veterinary supplier has also made me comfortable administering eye drops, ear medications, and topical treatments when needed. My goal is always to make every cat feel safe, loved, and stress-free while their family is away.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
💕 The best part is earning a cat’s trust. Every cat has a unique personality, and it’s incredibly rewarding when a shy kitty slowly comes out to greet me or asks for pets. I love spending quality time playing, cuddling (when invited!), and making sure each cat feels comfortable and cared for. Knowing I can give pet parents peace of mind while they’re away makes this work truly special to me.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
👑 Absolutely! I’m the proud cat mom of three wonderful girls: Lily, Candy, and Leia. They each have completely different personalities and have taught me so much about feline behavior, patience, and communication. They are my family, and they inspire me to care for every client’s cat with the same love and attention I give my own. 🩷🐾
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
🐾 Choose someone who truly understands and respects cats. Every cat has a different personality, routine, and comfort level, so it’s important to find a sitter who is patient and willing to earn their trust instead of forcing interactions. I also recommend choosing someone who provides regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, healthy, and in good hands. 💕
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
😻 I love getting to know both you and your kitty before the first visit! I’ll ask about your cat’s routine, favorite toys and treats, feeding schedule, medications (if any), and any special quirks or hiding spots. During each visit, I’ll make sure your cat receives personalized care, plenty of attention, and I’ll send detailed updates with photos so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your cat. 🐾
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
🏡 Your cat’s safety and your home’s security are my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions, double-check that doors and windows are secure, and make sure your cat stays safely indoors unless you’ve requested otherwise. I also pay close attention to your cat’s behavior, appetite, litter box habits, and overall well-being, so I can quickly notice if anything seems unusual. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. ❤️
Are you usually available during holidays?
😻 Absolutely! Holidays are one of my busiest and favorite times to care for fur babies. As a proud cat mom of three, I do take an occasional vacation too (my little queens insist! 👑🐱), but I always keep my calendar up to date so there are no surprises.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
😻 Shy cats have a special place in my heart! I never force interactions or invade their space. Instead, I let them come to me in their own time while using a calm voice, slow movements, and plenty of patience. Every cat has their own comfort level, and I always respect that. It’s one of my favorite moments when a timid kitty finally decides to come over for pets or simply sit nearby—it feels like the greatest compliment. 🩷🐾

Arezoo took the absolute best care of my boy Stevie while I was on vacation for a week. It was our first time leaving him alone for that long, so I was really nervous at first. Arezoo did a great job taking care of our two cats for a week. From the meet and greet moment I had confidence she is reliable and empathetic caretaker. Arezoo was coming exactly as agreed and following all instructions we have left, at the same time she wasn't just "ticking the boxes", but evaluating situation based on how cats are doing and offering some extra steps (food-wise, toilet-wise) based on that. I did have great confidence cats are taken care of and could enjoy our vacation not being worried about them. When we were back they were calm and happy. Can absolutely recommend Arezoo and will be definitely using her services again.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Arezoo is caring and responsible - the communication was seamless and she sent video updates after every visit. She went above and beyond to give our cat attentive care. When we returned, our cat was relaxed - in the past, she has been agitated and clingy when we get home. Arezoo put our cat at ease by giving her good care. I can’t recommend Arezoo enough! She graciously watched my 2 babies while I had to attend a memorial service. I had so much anxiety about leaving them and she made me feel so comfortable. Arezoo was fantastic with my 3 fur babies! They all have distinct personalities (a playful one, one with CATTITUDE, and a shy guy) and she catered to all of them! Arezoo was awesome and responsive. She was flexible with timing and sent us cute videos of our boys. They are friendly with strangers but still won’t always let them hold them but she charmed them both! They leaned into her pets and she played with them and helped them get out their kitten energy

Arezoo was the purrfect pet sitter. she understood how to make my Peanut, a bit of a shy cat, to come out and be playful and affectionate with her. she sent great little videos at each visit and when I got home, Peanut was just her usual self, not mad at me for being away and we just settled back in to life in the Peanut household!
