I come from a cat household and have grown up with many. I currently have one cat who is an absolute princess and is treated as such! She is not the most affectionate cat, but over the few years I’ve had her she has become a lot more lovey and likes to be held whereas before it was impossible to not get a paw kick to the throat immediately. I am patient and will let your kitty warm up to me at their own pace. I have taken in many strays that have become part of the family and have always been good at befriending animals so they trust me... I come from a cat household and have grown up with many. First meetings start off by sitting with them, usually on the ground, and allow them the space to approach and sniff around. I am comfortable with high maintenance pets as I have one myself and have cared for many in the past. I also had a sweet bunny for 12 years who had a very strong personality! She ended up needing a lot of medical care at home so I have learned a lot of gentle tricks on how to get an unwilling pet to take medicine, if needed. What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love learning each cat’s little quirks and really enjoy when they warm up to me. When they feel like i am trustworthy and allow me to love on them I feel so lucky! Kitty snuggles are the best!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I cat sit for two babies, Judy and Tuna, and they are so funny. They have a ton of energy so we run around with their string toys, then I walk them around the house and we look at things together. They love to headbutt me and bite my phone camera so I have a ton of silly photos I get to send their mom.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have a sweet little (very big) baby named Beff, who’s a beautiful, all black, long haired Persian cat. She doesn’t know how to meow like a cat so her’s sound like a human-like yell, gargling water, chittering, and always fluctuating volume. She is very food driven but recently has been obsessed with going outside and looking at butterflies. I hold her in front of our kitchen window every morning to watch cars go by. She’s a very high maintenance baby who demands a lot of attention and I am so happy to give it to her!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Los Angeles cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
