I'm a lifelong cat owner, but I've been pet sitting more seriously since I was 18 - so for sixteen years! My favorite part of cat sitting - whether it's drop in visits or house sitting,m - is getting to develop meaningful relationships with the animals in my care. I have cared for and am comfortable caring for cats at all stages of life. I'm comfortable with administering medications, fluids, cleaning up messes that happen!

I've rarely met a cat I didn't like, or who didn't like me - I think... I'm a lifelong cat owner, but I've been pet sitting more seriously since I was 18 - so for sixteen years! I've rarely met a cat I didn't like, or who didn't like me - I think they know that I genuinely love to be around and spend time with them! I also like to take my time with building trust and respecting boundaries (when necessary - some cats don’t need this as we know) so I like to think they appreciate that.

My approach really depends on each cat, home, and situation! Each cat is different and has different needs. I like to get to know each cat and their particular quirks, and then take things at their speed. Love to follow their lead, whether it’s cuddling on the couch for an hour or playing or watching birds on cat tv!

I’m good with cats of all temperaments and sociableness! I love cats so much (yes I have a cat tattoo). And will always send a ton of photos!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have three rescue cats named Archie, Hank, and Duke. Hank is very cranky and takes Prozac every dah, but has a heart of gold underneath it all. Duke is very fluffy and regal, spends time alone a lot, but when he wants attention he DEMANDS it. Archie is the sweetest and most loving of the bunch and loves to play and cuddle! He follows me around the house. Archie and Duke both love watching TV!

What is your favorite cat toy?

It’s simply, but I’m a firm believer in the combo of a Ripple Rug and a wand toy called “da rat”.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I like to let them take their time sniffing me and getting used to me being around! I also often sing them little songs and talk to them constantly so they get used to my voice. Then I also try to lure them out with treats or toys! But first and foremost I want them to feel safe and comfortable and like they have agency.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
