I am an experienced cat owner with two cats, male and female. I have given ear, eye, gel, liquid, and pill medications with or without food to kittens, adults, and senior cats.
I have a flexible schedule for drop-ins on weekdays and weekends because I work from home. I have no problem driving to your home in the Tri-Valley area. I am generally chill, clean, and observant.
I will complete everything on a list if provided. Otherwise, I am good with cleaning litter boxes, washing and refilling water and food bowls, feeding wet and/or dry foods, brushing, administering any medications, play time, and bringing in packages if needed.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I used to only do dog sitting, but I started cat sitting after moving to the Tri-Valley area and my cats established a set routine.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love spending time with different cats and learning all of their different personalities. Some like to only cuddle, some like playing, and I appreciate them all.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one boy, Ash, and one girl, Patches. They are both a little over 2 years old. I have also fostered a senior cat.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
If you have multiple cats or your cat is social/gets lonely, I recommend that each visit be at least 45 min.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I do a meet & greet for every new cat parent. It's a good opportunity to clarify routines, entry, and expectations. I also leave a small gift for every reservation at the end.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Preparation is key for me. I like to note any current medications and schedules, feedings, location of their health/medical history and carrier, hiding places, any tendency to escape, house keys or codes, any expected packages/people, and emergency contacts.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am generally available during most US holidays including summers. My family tends to celebrate holidays the week before or the week after.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Springs! One of the first toys I bought my kittens was a pack of springs. They are all over the house now.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I find that it's best to sit with them for the first 1-2 days and not force any interactions. Leaving a sweater on the side can also make them curious enough to come out and get used to my smell without needing me to approach them and risk scaring them back into hiding.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Dublin cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $37.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
