I currently work remote Thursday and Friday at my main day job, and I’m available all day on the weekends to take care of your baby. That’s 4 days out of the week back to back I can watch your baby (Thursday-Sunday).

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to know each cat’s unique personality and making them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. I genuinely love spending time with cats and earning their trust, whether that means playing with them, giving them affection, or simply keeping them company on their terms. I know how important it is to have peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring and attentive hands.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have a beautiful 12-year-old long-haired female cat named Lana, who has been with me since she was a tiny kitten. I also spent 12 years caring for and co-parenting a wonderful cat named Midnight, who is now 14. After my former partner and I separated, Midnight went to live with him. Having cared for cats throughout so much of my adult life, I have a lot of experience understanding their individual personalities, needs, and routines.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I approach timid or anxious cats with lots of patience, gentleness, and respect for their personal space. I keep my voice soft, avoid sudden movements or loud noises, and allow them to approach me when they feel comfortable rather than forcing interaction. I’ve found that calm reassurance, patience, and a few treats can go a long way in building trust! Most importantly, I let each cat set the pace and make sure they feel safe and secure in their own environment.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
