I’ve been cat sitting for years for friends and family, caring for a variety of feline personalities—from playful kittens to senior cats needing medication and extra TLC. I’ve worked with shy, anxious cats who need a gentle presence as well as social, attention-loving cats who enjoy playtime and cuddles. I always take the time to understand each cat’s unique behavior, preferences, and routines. Whether it’s feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, or simply keeping your kitty company, I approach every visit with patience, reliability, and love.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is forming bonds with each cat I care for. Every cat has a unique personality, and I love taking the time to earn their trust—especially the shy or cautious ones. Whether it’s sharing a quiet moment while they nap nearby or engaging them in a fun play session, it’s incredibly rewarding to know they feel safe and happy in my care. I also enjoy giving pet parents peace of mind, knowing their beloved companion is being looked after with genuine attention and affection.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, I have two wonderful cats—Leroy and Jack! Leroy is full of sass and personality; he definitely runs the household and isn’t afraid to let you know what he wants. Jack, on the other hand, is affectionate, gentle, and the sweetest companion you could ask for. They balance each other out perfectly and keep me entertained every day. Living with them has taught me so much about reading feline body language and respecting their boundaries—skills that I bring to every cat sitting visit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Monrovia cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $34.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
