I'm able to read their body language and care for their needs. I have experience bottle feeding my two kittens, Peach and Mango. I understand what it's like to miss them, so l'd like to help others know that their pets are at ease.
I'm WFH 8am-5pm M-F, so I can check in on various times per day. My weekends and nights are also very flexible so l'm able to help keep your pet's routine.... I've had cats my whole life and get along with many.

I'll be the first to say that I pay great attention to how others interact with my pets and how they would treat my home. I want to extend that attention to your pets and your own home. I have experience of tending to round the clock needs, and am very conscientious of treating your home with respect and avoiding any incidents.
For example I have a strong habit of making sure no critters scurry past any doors they cannot pass through.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been formally cat sitting for over two years. I have cared for 85+ different cats as of writing and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity and trust. I have two cats that are my life and I’d want to extend the reassurance I’d expect for them.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
The cats! It’s always a joy when a cat has the zoomies and they’re just running wild and being silly. I’m also glad to just keep them company as well.
What is your favorite cat toy?
One of my cats, Peach, destroys every string he can find. Therefore, regular string toys don’t last long. There’s a rod called “Lightning Rod” sold at a big pet retailer that uses braided safety wiring as its string so he can’t bite through it. My cats love chasing after this, it comes with a clip to use with your lure of choice. They prefer the caterpillar ones. I highly recommend it!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Diego cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
