I love spending time with cats. I have an adopted cat named Mystic! I have been catsitting for over 5 years, both professionally and for friends and family. I work full-time in Data Analytics, but in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my cat, which includes taking him out on his stroller walks.

I love spending time with cats. I have an adopted cat named Mystic! I have been catsitting for over 5 years, both professionally and for friends and family. As a cat parent myself, I understand the importance of following a cat’s routine. During sittings, I always carefully follow all care instructions while providing enrichment and comfort for cats while their parents are away. I also handle basic household tasks like tidying up, bringing in mail, and light plant care if needed.
I have experience administering medications and am especially patient with shy and anxious cats. I always observe cat behaviors during visits to ensure your cat is eating, using the litter box regularly, and feeling comfortable.
During each visit, I make sure to provide detailed visit notes with plenty of photos so you can see how cared for your kitten is!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
In the past, I cat-sat a Tuxedo cat, and our visits quickly became some of my favorites. Most days, we played with toys and then watched cat TV together. Every day, this kitten would curl up on my lap and either fall asleep or even hug me! I always love meeting other Tuxedo cats or cats that remind me of my own—and in this case, both occurred!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I am local to the area, so I am always available during the holidays and ready to care for your cats!
What is your favorite cat toy?
I enjoy playing with wand toys with my cat and the cats I care for. They’re great for preventing boredom and helping cats release energy. Of course, I always put wands away afterward to prevent any hazards!

Xiomara did mostly great with our cats! Our cat had bladder crystals that flared up during our trip. Xiomara was very accommodating to switch up the feeding schedule. Our cat recovered from her crystals when we returned! Unfortunately the only negative thing was one of the two litter boxes was missed on the first day which lead to our cat peeing on our bathroom mats. Otherwise overall the service was great!

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Jose cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $37.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
