What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have 4 years of cat sitting experience under my belt with many friends and family trusting me with taking care of them, making them feel as comfortable as possible and playing with them equally with lots of love!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I personally love spending as much quality time with each cat, learning about their behavioral patterns, how they express themselves as well as understanding their love language and learning about their unique personalities!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I had a cat sitting reservation recently where this one cat wanted lots of cuddles and while I was changing their water and food bowl, they decided to playfully tap the top of my head when they wanted more cuddles. I honestly couldn't help but feel happy about this and grateful for my job of watching over and taking care of beautiful and adorable felines while creating a beautifully strong bond with them.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have about 3 kitties named Poppy, Puppy and Peony who are not only sweet, kind and very playful but they are also very generous, supportive and extremely loving.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Be sure to have lots of fun and know that every cat that you look after is a good and dear furry friend that loves you right back!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I love getting to know the new parent as well as their cat and their general daily routine, their likes and dislikes and learning about each cat's personalities and quirks.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I usually spend time with the cat or cats and make them feel as welcome as possible during my entire time with them. I always like to allow them to feel welcome and comfortable around me at all times which usually happens more than not. My goal is to make each cat I take care of and watch over feel safe and happy with my warm presence.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am usually available during the holiday seasons to watch over any and all cats of all ages, tall or small.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I personally love playing with a toy that is attached to a string like a little mouse mostly because not only will the cat have a fun time with playing with the toy by we can both have fun playing together while forming a friendly bond with one another.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I usually tend to learn each cat's emotional patterns and respect them while giving them the space that they need, as well as give them as much love and attention should they call for it. What usually works for me whenever I'm around and anxious cat are giving them slow love blinks to assure them that everything is gonna be alright and that they're in a safe and loving environment with me. The cat usually seems to calm down and relax a bit once this happens.
