Hello there! My name is Susan Edwards and I am a crazy cat lady from Santa Clarita, CA. I wear that title with honor and pride. Currently, I am owned by four cats of my own. My interest in pet sitting began in 2016 while volunteering at a local cat rescue. My experience there led me to some of my very first jobs. In the beginning of my pet sitting career, I was a full-time sitter with another company. I cared for cats, dogs, bunnies, and other small creatures. When the pandemic hit, I temporarily cut back on pet sitting and transitioned to a full-time admin job. That job has ended and I am back to pet sitting as my primary job. This time I am focusing on cats. My experience spans various types, ages, and personalities of cats, largely gained through my work with the Heaven on Earth rescue. As a volunteer there, I assisted in adoption events, cared for the cats at the local Petsmart, and spent countless hours at their sanctuary, helping socialize the shyest and most spirited kitties. As of July 2022, I am now volunteering for Kitten Rescue, where you may spot me caring for the cats at the Stevenson Ranch Petsmart. Feel free to come say hello! I am skilled in administering insulin, giving oral medications, applying topical ointments, and dispensing eye/ear drops. I have limited experience with sub-q fluids. one of our naughty kitties opened the lid to the automatic feeder. Susan noticed and sent pics. We decided to let them free feed until we came back home. if not for Susan we would’ve never known and it would’ve been a mess. Sure they were a bit chubbier when we came home. but in all fairness so were we! hahaha.

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my cats. She is obviously very experienced in dealing with cats and all of their widely varied personalities and quirks. One of my cats is extremely bonded with me and usually ignores everyone else. She’s the only person who has ever been able to get him to interact with her when I’m not there. When I’ve had other sitters he’ll spend the majority of his time in my bedroom, but she sent me pics and videos of him all over the house, looking totally relaxed, while she was there. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
