What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is forming a bond with each cat and seeing them feel safe, comfortable and happy in my care. I love getting to know their unique personalities, routines, and providing gentle attention and affection on their terms. Being able to give peace of mind to Parents, while ensuring their furry friends are well cared for is incredibly rewarding. Every visit is an opportunity to make a cat feel loved and secure, which is truly fulfilling for me as a lifelong cat lover.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Keeping cats and their home safe is one of my top priorities. I carefully follow any instructions from Parents regarding routines, feeding or medications and I make sure the environment is secure by checking doors, windows and any areas where a curious cat could get into trouble. My experience caring for my own indoor cats has taught me the importance of creating a safe space and being vigilant about potential hazards which I bring to every home I sit in. While I am cat sitting, I supervise play, remove or secure dangers and provide updates and photos to owners so they feel confident their cats are happy, healthy and well protected while they are away.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

When caring for cats that are particularly timid or anxious, I prioritize patience, observation and letting the cats set the pace. I approach slowly and quietly, giving them space to come to me rather than forcing interaction. I use gentle talk, soft movements, and sometimes treats or toys to create positive associations . I watch their body language closely to ensure they feel safe and comfortable and I adjust my approach based on their reactions. My goal is to build trust gradually, helping them feel secure so they can relax and enjoy the attention at their own pace.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
