I’m very familiar with all the different personalities cats bring—independent, social, shy, opinionated—and I genuinely enjoy figuring out what each cat needs to feel comfortable. I’m patient and respectful of their space, but also know when they want attention (or snacks)... I’ve grown up around cats my entire life—at one point we had 6 indoor cats, and then moved in with my grandparents who had another 6 indoor/outdoor cats… so yes, I’ve handled a 12-cat household 😄

I currently have one cat, Luna, a torti who fits every torti stereotype you’ve heard—sassy, opinionated, and absolutely convinced she runs the household (she keeps me on a strict schedule). She’s also the only spoiled kitty in our home, and I’m excited to bring that same spoiling energy to your cats!
I’m comfortable administering medications for cats, including pills and liquids, and I’m used to getting creative when cats are a little too clever for their own good.
Overall, I bring a reliable, thoughtful approach to every cat I care for. You can expect clear communication, lots of updates, and someone who will treat your cat like an individual—not just a quick stop on a schedule.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Safety is priority #1, especially for a crafty cat! Going inside the house I always act like the cat is right on the other side of the door, and block with my hands. If you have an escape artist, all I ask is that you prep me ahead of time and teach me what you do to keep them safe and out of trouble. My cat Luna is an adventurer herself, but doesn’t try to actually leave the house. She does think the garage is a portal to a new world…
What is your favorite cat toy?
Wands, Amazon boxes, and trash! We love a good wand with feathers or a jingle. Trash is always a hit too, old receipts, hair ties, bread clips. You name it, trash is the cheapest toy I’ve ever found.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I will sit in the same room with them and pretend they don’t exist. This works best when I’m working at my computer or reading a book. Sometimes this takes a very long time, but it’s always worth it. If they start to relax then I will try to give them some small gentle attention if they will tolerate anything. If you know of a toy or treat they can’t resist, then that will sometimes give me extra brownie points.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
