Growing up, I had two very different cats - one outgoing and adventurous, and the other shy and content to spend days hiding behind the furnace. They taught me that every cat is different: some crave attention, while others prefer their space... Hi there! My name is Ella and I’ve had a deep connection with cats for as long as I can remember. I truly adore their unique personalities and have a strong understanding of their needs and behavior.
Growing up, I had two very different cats - one outgoing and adventurous, and the other shy and content to spend days hiding behind the furnace. They taught me that every cat is different: some crave attention, while others prefer their space. Because of this, I always respect a cat’s boundaries and let them approach me on their own terms, giving them the time they need to feel comfortable and build trust.
During my visits, I make sure your cat has fresh water, a clean litter box, and plenty of care and attention tailored to their personality. Whether that means playtime, pets, cuddles, or simply providing a calm and reassuring presence, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at.
I also provide regular updates with plenty of photos, a detailed description of the visit and clear communication so you can feel confident that your kitty is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting as my primary source of income for the past 3 years, providing both house sittings and drop-in visits. I’ve also cared for cats for family, friends, and neighbors since I was a teenager.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to know each cat’s unique personality - whether they’re funny, goofy, shy, sweet, or somewhere in between! I always have a lot of fun playing with them, and for the cats who enjoy affection, I love spending time cuddling with them too 🥰 One of the most rewarding parts of cat sitting for me is being able to provide a safe, calm, and loving presence while their owners are away. It brings me a deep sense of joy and purpose knowing I can help cats feel comfortable, cared for, and secure during that time, especially those who experience separation anxiety.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
Oh wow that’s such a tough question! I’ve had so many wonderful cat sitting bookings over the years, but if I had to choose one, it would probably be a cat named George. He’s the cutest, most cuddly Velcro cat in the world and always wanted to be right by my side. He’s also incredibly silly, especially during playtime, and he never failed to make me laugh. I became so attached to him that I now have several stickers of him on my belongings 😹

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
