I got my first cat at 18 years old and fell in love with all cats! I’ve always had 2 as I believe they need a companion. I can’t resist any cat even a random stray and have even brought random ones into my hotel rooms on vacation if they want to come in. My photo album is filled with cats from wherever I go! My dream job would be the cat caretaker at the Hemingway house in Key West. In my real life, I am a mastectomy prosthetic fitter for women with breast cancer and I absolutely love it. My orange tabby Oliver got diagnosed with diabetes and I never thought I would be able to handle all of the glucose testing and insulin injections but when you love a cat you do it and now I am a master! I am fortunate to have a friend that can give my cat injections and thought, "I bet there are a lot of cat parents that have no one to do this if they can’t." So, that is one of my main reason for offering my services. I also have a beautiful long-haired mix named Mittens who is a sweet terror lol! I do work Monday through Friday so visits on those days would be mornings and after work but weekends are free. I live in the West Chase area of Tampa
And can easily sit in town n country, Oldsmar, safety harbor or anywhere in that vicinity

Honestly could not recommended Kim more! She did everything as asked and kept me updated every visit. She even brought over a small toy for my cats to have, I came home and my cats acted like we never left which made me feel that they felt comfortable with Kim and that they were taken care of!

I just moved to Tampa and don't know any sitters yet, so I was glad to find a cat-focused service. Kim was UHMAIZING with my 3 furkids! My girl was all over her during the meet-n-greet, and she got my 2 shy boys to come out of their shells during her visits. I had last-minute change of plans, too, and Kim was wicked accommodating. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Tampa cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
