Throughout my life, I've had three cats, I spent four years volunteering at my local humane society, and I stop for every stray I see. During pet-sitting in the past, I've done cat tasks such as baths, diaper changes, and medication twice a day. I consider myself to be incredibly patient when it comes to introducing myself to new cats and would of course begin every cat sitting trip with an introduction. Following that, I would run through the list of tasks that cats require, as well as any extra activities the specific cat would need. I would, of course, also clean up after any cat messes and I am willing to do minor house sitting such as picking up mail and taking out the trash. I look forward to growing in my future experience as a cat-sitter.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

This is so cheesy and overdone but it is the chance to meet a new cat. I have never met a cat I do not like and the chance to meet a new one is a gift.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I currently have one cat of my own. She is an orange and white creamsicle tabby named Lilly. I have had her for two wonderful years after I took her in from the street.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am available most holidays I just need notice in order to plan accordingly.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Call me cliche, but I love a wand with a feather on the end. I also love the catnip mice.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I frequently pet sit my parents' cat, who is incredibly timid and anxious. He typically spends most of the day hiding in his cat castle. However, I give him his space and allow him to approach and sniff me first before I complete his tasks like feeding, socializing, and medications.

Kaitlyn really went above and beyond!!! From the meet and greet, she made us feel very comfortable! we received daily updates with pictures and videos. We could also tell she spent a lot of quality time with our girl (she usually takes a long time to warm up to new people but was clearly happy and enjoying pets and playtime in the photos). Overall, I really can’t say enough great things about Kaitlyn! we were very happy with her and will definitely have her again for future trips!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
