I do work a full time job as a Microbiologist from 7:30am-3:30pm M-F, but can take weekday drop-ins afte... Meow! My name is Sidney and I am a long term cat mom. I have owned multiple cats for over ten years, ranging from kittens to senior cats, and have lots of experience with a variety of cat personalities! I am able to administer topical, oral, or droplet forms of medication to your feline babies!
I do work a full time job as a Microbiologist from 7:30am-3:30pm M-F, but can take weekday drop-ins after 4pm! On weekends I am able to drop in multiple times per day, at almost any point throughout the day.
I would love to come visit and care for your baby and make sure they are well taken care of!
I do currently have my own black cat who is 12 years old and named Mozzy! She does have mild arthritis and reoccurring constipation- so I am also experienced in preventative/daily care of such disorders!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a cat named Mozzy who is a 12 year old black cat! I have had her since she was 1 month old, when she was found in a woodpile outside of my godmothers house, and we are absolutely inseparable!!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I typically like to start all new sits with a 15-30min meet and greet. This ideally happens at the cat parents home to go over their kitty’s needs, see where litter and cleaning supplies are, key pickup and dropoff preferences, as well as touch base on expected home care while they are away. Each cat and home is different so these meetings are just to talk about your specific needs!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
To me it is essential that the cat I am sitting feels comfortable and safe through a quiet and slow visit. I will not rapidly approach the cats or leave doors ajar. My goal is to come in and care for them as requested with as little disturbance as possible!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Anxious cats require specific sitting care! If the cat is hiding and appears to be scared, I will never push it and will allow that cat to be alone. If your baby is hiding in the closet or too scared to come out, I will simply complete your requested actions and leave as quietly as I can to not upset them any further!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Indianapolis cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
