Sophie acted immediately, contacted us right away, and quite honestly, her quick response may have saved his life. We rushed home as soon as we heard, but throughout the entire ordeal, Sophie kept in constant communication with us, checked on our baby and even went to visit him in the ER. Her kindness, compassion and dedication to the kitties in her care went above and beyond anything we could have expected from a pet sitter. She cared for Mingus like he was her own. "This was our first time opening up our home to someone outside of family, so we were definitely nervous, especially with three fur babies and one of them recently being diagnosed with diabetes. We had been hesitant to even book a vacation because we weren’t sure who we could trust to care for them the way we would. We searched the internet for different options and came across Kyle, who, similar to us, also has a cat with diabetes. Once we met him in person, I knew we made the right choice. Kyle made sure to ask all the right questions and thought through different scenarios ahead of time. It was clear right away that he’s experienced and knows what he’s doing. Every time he arrived at our apartment, he let us know and gave us a detailed update on how everything was going, along with several pictures of our cats, which we really enjoyed. He also made sure to give them plenty of love and attention, which we really appreciated, and I know they did too. To say Kyle exceeded my expectations is an understatement. Especially because the older one has had a lot of health issues in the last year, and is on some medication, and usually hides from strangers. With Marian, she warmed up very quickly! Within a few days she was best friends with both of them. She sent photos and updates after every visit and quickly made me comfortable feeling that they were getting well taken care of. She handled the medication great, followed all of my overly detailed helicopter-parent instructions to the letter, was entirely respectful of my home, and even hand-washed the cats’ used food dishes each day even though I had left enough clean ones out for the length of my trip away, and she could’ve just left them in the sink or put them in the dishwasher for me to handle when I got back. It’s like I paid for a cat sitter and got a house sitter for free! (although there weren’t many tasks) Don’t let the lower number of reviews compared to some other sitters in the area deter you; she’s top tier- and at least for now, she was charging less than most of the other sitters I saw in my area."

He sent several pictures and a detailed update with every visit he made, and even spent extra time to give more snuggles and pets to our cat. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of Vincent, and it was especially reassuring to have all the updates since we were away for a longer period of time than we usually are. "We are so grateful that Tea was able to look after our 4 cats during a week long vacation. On day 2 of our trip, we received some worrying test results back from our vet about one of our younger cats. Tea provided extensive updates, helped set up a pet camera so we could check in remotely, and took such wonderful care of the cats that we felt confident continuing our trip. Our older, shyer cat especially loved Tea's visits. She always made sure he received lots of love and attention. We've even noticed an increase in his confidence since we returned home. Overall, Tea's communication was excellent and the cats loved her visits!"

During our two week-long travel abroad, Sophie took such good care of our two kittens, providing them the emotional support they needed, while also providing us assurance through daily text updates and (very cute) photos - these really gave us peace of mind. Sophie clearly knows how to care for cats of different personalities - both our kittens warmed up to her very quickly and looked forward to her daily visits. Sophie played with them, fed them wet meals, cleaned their bowls, changed their drinking water, scooped and changed their litter boxes. Sophie was super attentive to the health and safety of our cats! She notified us when there were changes to their stool consistency and took care to remove items that they were chewing on. When the kittens were unwell and in cones during a prior visit, Sophie was able to skillfully and calmly apply eye drops/ointment for both. We highly recommend Sophie for looking after your cats while you are away!"
