What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I regularly cat sit for family and friends when they are out of town, and I’ve been doing so for over 10 years. I’m very comfortable with the process!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love providing cat parents peace of mind while they are gone. I also love meeting new cats and getting to know them, while also getting to provide them some reassurance and comfort while their people are away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have one 18-year-old cat that I’ve had since he was 6 weeks old. His name is Habanero, but we call him Nero. We lost his brother Grim a year ago. Grim was my baby, and Nero is our chonky boi, our jelly boy, huge snuggle bby.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I take any instruction or warning about cats very seriously - for example, I regularly walk dogs for a client who has 7 cats. She has them split up by personality throughout her large home. I very carefully ensure that there are no escapees even while managing her dogs. I check for anyone waiting at the door as I enter and leave and use my body and the door to minimize space to sneak out through - I would never ever let a cat escape!

Are you usually available during holidays?

Most holidays I can be available for at least one visit!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
