What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

Throughout the last seven years, Iā€™ve been entrusted by friends and family to care for their cats. Even at a younger age, I was often asked to take on these responsibilities due to my skills, knowledge, and natural ability to connect with cats ā€” some even call me a ā€œcat whisperer.ā€ I take pride in providing attentive, loving, and reliable care for every feline I look after.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting are the cats themselves! I have a deep appreciation for them and their unique personalities. Cats are complex, often misunderstood creatures, and I love observing and understanding their behaviors. For cat parents who may not have the time to give this attention, I get to step in, applying my knowledge, patience, and passion to ensure their cats feel safe, happy, and understood.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I have two wonderful daughters of my own. Aveā€™ is a 10-year-old domestic longhair whom I successfully rehabilitated. I first fostered her and later adopted her, giving her the forever home she deserved. Aveā€™ came to me with PTSD from previous owners and was deemed untouchable by the shelter due to her fear of humans. With patience, love, and consistent care, she has blossomed into a playful, cuddly, and healthy cat. My other daughter, Raven, is a 4-year-old domestic medium hair tortie. She was tucked away in a tiny shelter three hours away, and I made the journey multiple times to bond with her before bringing her home. Both of my cats are now thriving, happy, and loved deeply. I also had a childhood cat, Patch, a domestic medium hair tortie who passed away at 8 from lymphoma. When I adopted Aveā€™ after that time.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

My personal advice is to entrust someone who spends a lot of time with cats or owns a cat themselves, someone who is knowledgeable and responsible.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

We can openly communicate, I'll ask a few important follow up questions, go over some important details and check in if I'm the right sitter for your kitties! Then finalize a visit!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Being alert of my surroundings, always! I pay extra care and attention to the safety of your home, cat and belongings; treating them as if it was my own home. I'm cautious around doors and windows as well as furniture to ensure feline safety. As well as any plant or exposure hazards that may not easily detectable at first glance.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! I'm available and open to working on most federal holidays except for Christmas & Thanksgiving(So I can spend time with my kitties). I'd be more than willing to help support you while you're away from your fur baby for the holidays or even a vacation!

What is your favorite cat toy?

Interactive or puzzle treat toys! It's very good enrichment, and stimulates your cat helping their overall life quality. Not to mention builds important skills and quality time with your furry companion.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

With gentle soft spoken care, it's important to never make sudden jerks or movements around anxious cats; I always provide a safe space for a cat to distress and never push their personal boundaries when uncomfortable. After all I'm a stranger in their home, I'd be a little anxious too at first. Over time I'll learn your cat's nuances and be able to provide them with the best calculated care they deserve with no further stress!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
