What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for friends, family, neighbors, and clients for over a decade! It’s always a pleasure to meet and spend time with new kitties, and to provide them with the same level of care that I would want for my own.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love getting to know more kitties with their own unique personalities and quirks! I also like providing them with care and security while their owners are away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I currently have a 17-year-old baby named Pippy! I have had her since she was a kitten. She is very sweet and has many demands in her older years, which I dutifully tend to! ☺️

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

It’s important for the cat to set the pace and not force anything on them. I will always extend my hand first for them to sniff before giving consent for petting. If they don’t even want to come close, I will just sit nearby and talk to them in a gentle voice to help them feel safe with me.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
