Hi! Im megan! Im a cat lady who is starting her cat sitting journey! Ive pet sat for family and friends for years and recently started broadening my horizons to watching the pets of strangers. I understand having someone you dont know care for your loved ones, but rest assured, as a devoted cat mom myself, i love and care for all cats. Even the grumpy mean ones :3 ive cared for special needs cats, shy cats, older cats, active, and lazy cats. I love it all. Typically before a sitting, i like to do a meet and greet... Hi! Im megan! Ill come over, meet you and your cats and we will go over any special rules or instructions. I typically prefer to keep in touch with the owner during my sitting, sending them frequent pet pics, just so they feel comfortable knowing their pet is happy (i know im stressing about my cats when i go away)
Its really important to me to be respectful and kind, and to earn the trust of others

Also PLEASE READ: I work my normal job from 8am-4pm monday thru Thursday, so I cannot be available for your cats in that time window, however, i am still available after work/overnight for those days :3

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Im getting paid to hang out and play with cats! I love all cats, and im always excited to meet more.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I had a reoccurring client, who had a pair of foster cats, a mom and her 2 month old kitten. I immediately fell in love with them. The kitten, had a brain disorder so it made her very wobbly, but she was still so playful and sweet and full of energy. Her mom was also very sweet and immediately comfortable with me, which felt great. When i was told they were adopted, it was very bittersweet. I love them so much, and if i could handle caring for additional cats in my household by myself, Id adopt them in a heartbeat, but im very happy they found their forever home with someone who seems very sweet and caring.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 2 cats, both 2 years old, named Crunchwrap and Baja. Crunchwrap is my little void cat, shes a menace but also incredibly sweet. Baja is a white and grey larger cat, and Id describe him as a himbo. Great at posing for pictures, loves attention, and is very sweet and affectionate.

Megan did a great job of taking care of Cheesesteak! When I got home he seemed mad that it was me walking through the door instead of her. She did a great job taking of him and (more importantly) did a great job sending me lots of photos while I was away. Would definitely hire her again!!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
