I have had cats (and many other pets) my whole life so am very familiar with all types of personalities and behaviors. Looking for more opportunities to play with cats! I mean, what else is more important in life!
I always bring treats and toys with me, so upon a job request, please let me know of any dietary restrictions for your fur baby so that I can make sure to respect those for our friends. I am not able to stay overnight at a location at this time due to my personal pets’ needs.
Very familiar with special needs pets as well, so extra care steps are totally fine!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been pet sitting for about 20 years now; I have always loved animals and so have been the person people turn to when they need a sitter.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes I do! I have two cats- Eloise (brown tabby DMH) and Teddy (black and white DSH)! They are both rescues and are now best friends.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Look for someone who has a cat! Too many people are looking for a quick dollar or think cat sitting will be just like watching a dog, but if they don’t have a cat in their personal life, I just don’t think they understand proper cat care!

After a long time, friend moved away and was no longer able to look after my Katz whenever I leave town, I was lucky to find Meowtel Which then led me to Bart! Bart Handle things like a pro! It was great meeting him, and he was great with my cats. He kept me updated while I was gone, and I will definitely retain his service again in the future. Highly recommend recommended!

Bart takes care of your cat(s) as if they were his own. I have seen Bart on my home security cameras talking to my cats and spending time with them while also giving treats, cleaning litter, feeding, and watering. My cats tend to be shy, but never hide when he arrives. He has good energy and cats can detect that in a human. He is THE best pet sitter and human. He is trustworthy, kind, and sympathetic to your animals’ needs. A MUST hire!

I cannot recommend Bart enough! He was incredibly engaged with my cats and made sure they got plenty of attention while I was away. It’s clear that he truly cares about animals, as my cats took to him immediately. He followed all of my instructions perfectly, which gave me such peace of mind. On top of being great with the pets, he was respectful of my home and left everything exactly as found. I will definitely be booking him again!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Nashville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
