I'm Madeleine, a lifelong cat lover based in Nashville with a home full of feline energy — I live with four cats of my own so I understand the quirks, comfort routines, and personalities that make every cat unique. We adopted the mom while she was pregnant, so I also have experience with very young kittens. I am good with shy and anxious cats (we have a couple) and know how to make a gentle connection with them.
I have felt like a cat whisperer most of my life, so I know that your cats will be loved, fed, and taken care of while you are away. I am thorough, detail oriented, and on time. In my free time, I make electronic music and DJ. I also spend most of my time snuggling with my feline family.
What sets me apart.. aside from my cat intuition, I see cats as animals, wild creatures with imaginations. I respect their need for autonomy and know how to give them their space.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to meet other furry friends. Cats are so unique and meeting a new one is fun to see what their personality is and how they like to play. I also love getting to pet and scratch their belly.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have 4. We first adopted the mom Coco and her son Billie. She became pregnant and added two kittens to the family, Frankie and Howie.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them their space and talk to them gently, just to let them know I am safe and here to take care of them. I never corner or pressure them. I might do a soothing talk with them or close my eyes to show them I am safe to interact with.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
