For my day job, I am a football data analyst with the Tennessee Titans! Other hobbies, besides loving on cats, include hiking, pickleball, reading, baking, & spending time with my husband!
I am able to cat sit in the... Hi there! I’m Erin & I am a lifelong cat lover with three cats at my parents’ home. Two of them, Ellie & Hosmer, I adopted from the humane society in June 2015. The third one, Bones, was a stray 5-month old kitten who showed up at my door in October 2019 & never left! I understand the loving bond between a cat and its human. My experience caring for these three sweet yet spunky cats has given me a special insight into their needs, personalities, and quirks. In the past, I have pet sit (dogs & cats!) for friends, family, & coworkers, but I am new to the Nashville area & would love to offer my services to more people!
For my day job, I am a football data analyst with the Tennessee Titans! Other hobbies, besides loving on cats, include hiking, pickleball, reading, baking, & spending time with my husband!
I am able to cat sit in the mornings before 8 & evenings after 6 during the week, with more flexible time on the weekends!
I know that cats are more than just pets – they’re family members, deserving of love, attention, and comfort, especially when their owners are away.
One of the reasons I would be the perfect cat sitter is because I genuinely miss the company of my own cats. Being able to care for other people’s animals allows me to bring that love and affection into my life, while also helping fellow cat owners feel at ease when they’re not around. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet, and I strive to be that trusted person, offering dependable, compassionate care tailored to each cat’s unique needs.
Whether it’s playtime, feeding, litter box maintenance, or simply providing comforting company, I’m dedicated to ensuring every cat I sit for feels safe, happy, and loved in their own home. I recognize the little things that make cats feel secure and content, like their favorite spots to relax or the way they enjoy to be pet. With me, your cat will be in the hands of someone who truly cares, who understands how much they mean to you, and who will treat them with the same love and care as my own.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I first cat sit for a stranger (my neighbor!) in 2021! I moved out of the area & was very sad to leave her! I am very experienced with cats & find we take to each other very quickly!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Providing care & company to cats while their owners are away! Our pets notice when we are gone & I am happy to step in & give them some love while they’re missing you!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
3 at my parents’ house! Ellie, Hosmer, & Bones :)
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I follow the owners directions to a T! As a young woman, I am always hyper vigilant of my surroundings, and always make sure to close & lock doors behind me so no one else can get in or out. I also know some cats think they are escape artists, so I am careful to make sure there are no escapees by listening for footsteps or scratches on the door before I enter & by opening the door slowly!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! Due to my job, I don’t typically get to go home during the holidays - I would love to make sure your cat isn’t lonely for the holidays!
What is your favorite cat toy?
Wands with feathers on the end!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I always want to make sure a cat is comfortable with me rather than forcing it on me. I don’t ever want to startle it, so if they are shy while I am there, I will stay in the open & use gentle coaxing methods (like treats, if it’s okay with the owner!) to let them know it’s safe to come to me. However, if they doesn’t want to, that’s okay too! I will still make sure to stay the whole reserved time & take care of all other duties!

She is extremley communicative and snapped the best photos at every visit. I booked her for my next trip while she was still watching them to make sure we could have her again. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Nashville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
