I have fostered 30+ kittens and spent years before that with my beloved family cat. I enjoy energetic cats but am VERY willing to quietly build trust with a shy kitty.
On a typical visit, I'll refill food and water bowls, scoop the litter box, then seek out the cat(s) for playtime if they haven't come up to me ... I am a committed kitten wrangler! All cats should have security, enrichment and friendship. I try to bring those three things on every visit to keep your cats content while you're away.

On a typical visit, I'll refill food and water bowls, scoop the litter box, then seek out the cat(s) for playtime if they haven't come up to me yet. I can handle most of the messes cats dish out. I can give liquid oral medication, eye and ear drops, ointments and flea medication. Since I'm often rotating kittens in and out, rest assured I'll take special precautions to avoid cross-contaminating your household. That includes pausing bookings during a kitten quarantine period.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a rotating selection of kittens and hand out many "shelter names." Some of my favorites include Pierogi, Cloud, Rosie and Tori Jr. (I didn't name that one!)
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I ask about any special concerns the cat parent has. Next, I assess the cat's behavior compared to what's "typical" for a new home adjustment - and also how the new parents are adjusting. There are many ways to be a good cat parent. I'll share my experiences and brainstorm solutions that fit your home and routine.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I am a fan of the good old plastic spring. I also have some rat kick toys made of felt - they're easy to wash and tumble dry!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tori! She truly went above and beyond and gave me complete peace of mind during a very stressful situation. My brother was away unexpectedly, and since he lives in Nashville and I’m in Tampa, I needed someone I could completely rely on to care for his cats. Tori was amazing from the very beginning. She was dependable, communicative, and incredibly helpful. She purchased food, litter, and other supplies they needed and let me reimburse her afterward, which made managing everything from another state so much easier. She took wonderful care of Ori, even brushing him, and sent me photos and updates so I always knew he was doing well. And then there was Link! Link had escaped from the apartment before Tori ever arrived on Day 1 and had been missing the entire time. Somehow, on Tori’s FINAL night, she spotted him outside my brother’s apartment and immediately called me. I still can’t believe she found him! It honestly felt like a miracle and was such an incredible relief. Tori did so much more than simply stop by and feed the cats. She genuinely cared about them and stepped in to help with whatever was needed. Being hundreds of miles away, I can’t adequately express how much it meant to have someone so trustworthy, attentive, and kind looking after everything. She gave me total peace of mind when I really needed it. I would recommend Tori in a heartbeat. She is absolutely wonderful, and we are incredibly grateful for her!

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Nashville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
