Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I had the honor of cat sitting for my boss while her family went on vacation! They had a total of 8 cats at the time, including 3 foster kittens. They were so much fun! I got to see so many different cat purr-sonalities all at once! 😻

Are you usually available during holidays?

Most holidays, yes! While I may be asked to work some holidays at my other job, they are adjusted hours so I would still have time to visit your feline friends!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

It’s always best to go slow with any new cat, starting with just being near them and speaking softly. If they seem ready, I will reach out a finger to let them get my scent. I follow the 2 second rule with all new cats: only pet them for 2 seconds, and then stop so they can assess and react. If they lean in for more, they get more pets! If they show any signs of fear, anxiety, or stress, they may not be ready for more pets, and I will continue to work with them from a distant they are comfortable with.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
