What is your favorite cat toy?
There is a toy called Da Bird, which is a clump of feathers on a string connected to a long stick. Kitties loose their mind when you whip it around. For the best cat weed (am I allowed to say that?), you can’t go wrong with catnip toys by Yeowww!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
When I meet a shy or nervous cat, I’ll usually just spend some time quietly sitting on the floor near them and look at my phone or read a book. It’s all about familiarity and trust… and sometimes a little bit of Churu helps!

Linda was wonderful with our senior cats. One of our cats in particular is a complicated guy and takes four medications. He often has to be persuaded to eat and Linda spent lots of time getting to know his quirks and problem solving. Our other cat is a shy lady and she took to Linda right away. Linda sent great, pictures, asked questions when needed, and gave our kitties a great experience. The booking was also short notice and Linda was very accommodating.

Linda took wonderful care of my cat while I was away. She is very attentive, patient, and clearly cares about the pets she looks after. She paid close attention to my cat’s routine and well-being, and it was obvious she wanted to make sure he was comfortable and eating well. My cat requires medication, and Linda handled it professionally and confidently without any issues. She also provided timely updates and communicated clearly throughout the visits, which gave me great peace of mind while I was traveling. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat, and I would absolutely book Linda again in the future. Highly recommended! 🐱❤️

Linda has great vibes! Her familiarity with elder cats was very comforting. Our 15yr-old is extremely shy & hides from strangers. She did her best to ease his stress, leaving him little treats where he likes to hide and taking care of his litter & water. She was excellent at communicating and letting me know there were signs of life. We would love to hire Linda again in the future :)

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Edmonds cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Linda is a cat whisperer! She was able to charm a cranky elderly cat who refused to take her medication from anyone else. She’s also very good at navigating situations where cats in a household aren’t best friends (or in the process of hopefully becoming friends!) and need separate space and careful monitoring.

Linda is wonderful with kitties! I’ve known her for many years - first as a colleague, and later as a friend and trusted home and kitty sitter. She won our initially shy kitty over almost immediately, then looked after her multiple times over quite a few years. Our kitty was always happy to see her arrive, and we would always return home to find her relaxed and happy. I’ve always known Linda to be kind, gentle, playful, detail-oriented, and observant. She has wonderful communication skills, especially if questions or issues arise. Linda has gained vast experience with senior kitties, and is skilled and resourceful at giving medications.
