Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three cats - Noemi, Quino and Belladonna. Noemi is a geriatric 17 year old tabby with a gentle personality and a tendency to drool. Quino is a gigantic black cat from small fishing town in Louisiana who grew up during the pandemic, so he never leaves my side. Belladonna is a petite tuxedo with murder in her eyes. I swear she secretly speaks English. They all have vastly different personalities!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
The free meet and greet is key to peace of mind and ensuring we are on the same page. If you end up going with another catsitter after we meet, no hard feelings! That’s why these meet and greets exist.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I am almost always available during the holidays and ready to take care of your precious furbabies. No kitty will spend a holiday alone under my watch!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
The key is no pressure. I let them approach me on their own time, and if they don’t want to socialize that’s fine with me too. I don’t mind quietly sitting and letting them get used to my presence.

We'd never left our three 6 year old pandemic brothers alone for longer than an overnight, so we were nervous leading up to our two week trip out of the country. Especially since one of our cats needs daily medication. But Hannah was fantastic. She came over to meet the boys a few weeks before we left, which was great. I was still a bit worried how they were going to take our absence, but after the first day, I relaxed. Hannah texted to let us know how everything was going right away. Throughout our vacation, she sent photos and videos, as well as any questions or concerns she had. When we arrived home, all the cats were their normally happy selves. I would definitely hire Hannah again!

Our cat (Pip) started having allergy-related digestive and skin issues shortly before our trip that flared up after our meet and greet with Hannah. Hannah was very flexible with Pip’s changing needs during our time away and made him very comfortable and happy. She also helped us with some chicken-related and garden tasks. We are especially appreciative of her being super responsive, accommodating, and communicative throughout our trip. Hannah was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Hannah must be a cat whisperer; she is definitely a crazy cat lady's dream. My little shy guy warmed up to her immediately, which is rare, and both cats seemed quite content when we arrived home. Hannah is the best cat sitter I have ever hired. She stayed at my house with my two cats for a week and it was so nice going on a trip knowing my cats Gigi and Mouse were in the best hands. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Redmond cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $32.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
