What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat sitting for friends and family for the past 7 years! One of my friends even had 10 cats in their home for a couple of years, and I would occasionally help feed them, brush their coats, and give them plenty of love. Over the years, I’ve met and cared for cats of all ages and personalities-from shy, quiet kitties to energetic, playful ones -and even some feisty ones that want to fight on sight.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love how each cat I meet is unique and wonderful in their own way. As a lifelong cat lover, spending time with kitties is one of my favorite things - and it’s my way of sharing that love while giving them the care and attention they deserve. It’s especially rewarding to know they feel safe and supported while their cat parents are away. As a cat parent myself, I understand just how important it is to have trustworthy, compassionate care when you can’t be there.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I do! Her name is Luna, she’s a 5 year old tabby. She is a super vocal kitty, and never hesitates to share her thoughts. When she’s not talking to me or exploring new corners of the house, she is usually taking a nap in the sun. Luna also has seizures, so I’ve learned how to give her medication twice daily and care for her after an episode.

Nila is a very kind and compassionate person with a strong love for cats. My kitty Margo is very sensitive to noise and new people, but she has always been very comfortable with Nila because of her slow and gentle energy, and hands. She is also very attentive to the needs of a cat and notices quickly if something is out of the ordinary with their behavior. She also has a lot of experience administering medication to cats and picking up on more subtle signs of illness due to having to take care of her own cat with epilepsy. Overall, I think Nila would make an amazing cat sitter for cats of all kinds, as she loves playing with more rambunctious cats like those of some of our friends and feels safe to more quiet and slow cats like my own.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
