I am an experienced cat sitter with over 13 years of experience working with cats! I’ve seen all kinds of personalities, so I can adapt the way I interact with your cat to make sure they are as comfortable as possible while you are away, even if they are a bit shy. Your cat’s comfort and wellbeing is always my top priority. I work Monday to Friday, but I have flexibility in my schedul... I am an experienced cat sitter with over 13 years of experience working with cats! I’ve seen all kinds of personalities, so I can adapt the way I interact with your cat to make sure they are as comfortable as possible while you are away, even if they are a bit shy. Your cat’s comfort and wellbeing is always my top priority. I work Monday to Friday, but I have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate feeding and medication schedules. I can administer medication on a case by case basis, so please let me know what your cat needs when you reach out. In addition, I require a meet and greet for new clients so your cat can get accustomed to me and I can learn their routine!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I require a meet and greet for all new clients. At the meet and greet I like to meet the cat (if they’re willing!) so they can become more comfortable with my scent and I can learn the cat’s routine/what I need to do while you are away. From experience, I’ve learned meet and greets are valuable for my relationship with the cat because by interacting with you, they learn I’m not a threat and are typically more comfortable around me while you are away.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am usually available during holidays, particularly in November and December, to support my clients during the busiest times of year.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I always try to meet cats where they are at and let them lead our interactions. For shy kitties, I will spend time in the room with them without forcing them to interact with me, so they can become more comfortable with my scent and understand I’m not a threat. If they warm up to me over time, that’s great! If they don’t, that’s alright and I would not try to force them to interact with me if they don’t want to.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Seattle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
