I have experi... I have loved cats all my life and am a cat person through and through. I really enjoy getting to know all cats any opportunity I get. I have a really gentle and calming demeanor and typically let the cats lead so that they can approach as it feels comfortable for them.
I have experience as a volunteer working at the PAWS cat shelter so I have high attention to detail when it comes to care instructions, special cleaning and interaction needs. I also enjoy taking photos, videos and notes every visit so parents can be at ease and know their kitty is in good hands!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I've been catsitting for friends since 2018 and actively catsitting for people locally in Seattle for the past 7 years and looking forward to more! I often have availability during the holidays if I am not travelling.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to know the cats I catsit because each one has their own unique temperament, personality, style of playing and way of interacting with you. It feels satisfying being able to build trust with them the more you get to know them and their little quirks.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I used to have a Scottish Straight Chinchilla mixed cat named Kisum who was so sweet and gentle! She loved sitting in my chair when I was away and sitting next to me at work when I was at my desk.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Seattle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
