I believe that when you go on vacation or a business trip is benefits a kitty to stay in its home where they feel safe. Boarding a kitty upsets their routine. I come to your home to care for your kitty. I feed your kitty make sure they have fresh water and a clean litter box. If your kitty is on certain medications I am able to give them as needed per your instructions. I will treat your kitty as I would treat my own with love and compassion.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been kitty Sitting for 15 plus years. It started with family and moved to caring for neighbors and family's kitties. From a couple of days to a month I would care for kitties when their humans were out of town.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting new kitties. Sometimes kitties are scared of someone new coming into their homes so I go slow so kitty will feel safe.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite kitty Sitting reservation was taking care of Pete and Willie who were brothers. Their human went on a months long vacation. I would come every morning and evening to take care of Pete and Willie. They would look forward to my visits everyday.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Benito who will be 5 in March. Rainn who just turned one in November. I also have a Dog named Daisy who is 8 years

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Definitely schedule a meet and greet. Its good to meet the person that is going to take care of your kitty or kitties

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

When entering the home always make sure to look down and see if kitty is at the door. I always put my leg in first into the door and say hello kitty or get back.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes. I have open availability kitty Sitting. I can work around your schedule. Im also available for last minute trips that come up

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I let kitties that Im taking care of come to me when they are ready. I stay calm and talk softly to the kitty

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Seattle cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
