What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat-sitting for friends for 10+ years, including cats on special diets and/or needing medication. I signed up for Rover recently and am excited to start my journey as a professional cat sitter. As you can see in my bio, I have experience with a variety of feline temperaments and know how to be patient and compassionate especially when an animal is showing signs of stress.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting new cats, or revisiting a cat I’ve met before. What I enjoy most is when a cat purrs, or solicits attention showing they are ‘happy’. Then again, I love seeing a cat curled up in dream like sleep with their paws twitching, or when a shy cat starts to come out of its hidey hole to check me out - and watching it transform to trust.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One friend’s cat, Loki, loved playing wildly during my visits—I got a great photo of him mid-chase, full of energy and joy. Sharing it with his owner felt really special, especially since only a month or so later it was discovered Loki had a rare health issue and passed away. Moments like that remind me how important it is to enjoy every minute with our feline friends.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Currently a beautiful Boombay cat lives with me. She is roughly 4 years old - I adopted here 2 years ago and am extremely grateful she is a part of my life.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
