About My Services:
I’m based in Tempe and happily serve clients in the surrounding areas. At this time, I observe a 10-mile travel radius (one way) but it’s totally okay if you’re just outside of that range!
When you book with me, I’ll follow up to confirm your reservation and arrange a meet-and-greet so we can get acquainted. After each visit, you’ll receive an update along with photos and/or videos, so you’ll always know how your cats are doing while you’re away. 😻

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been catsitting with Meowtel since they first became a company around 2017 but I was catsitting for coworkers and friends for several years prior to being on Meowtel.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy the amazing amount of flexibility that catsitting provides, meeting clients, and hearing their stories while getting to know their cats. The time spent caring for and playing with kitties is never work to me. The opportunity to play with them is always uplifting and the highlight of my day. Not only do I find it therapeutic, it’s also fun!
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I can't say that I have a favorite because with each reservation I get to spend time with different cats who all have unique personalities. I love them all equally. 😺
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes I do. I took in a stray who was pregnant. Momma cats name is Maisy. I have her, two of her babies, and I rescued another cat named Pepper. 😻
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
The advice I would give includes finding someone who you feel comfortable with and who you can trust. Lastly, find someone who fully understands your cats routine and is dedicated to do their best to stick to it.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I schedule a complimentary meet and greet that works for both of our schedules. During this visit, I ask various questions such as what time do your kitties eat and the location of their water / food bowls, and litter boxes. This allows me to have the best understanding of the cats home and routine so that I can replicate it as best as possible during the time I have with them. 😺
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I take the safety and security of cats and your/their home VERY seriously. Every visit I ensure all doors are locked and I do not ever allow cats outside. I also enter/exit homes very carefully to ensure that no kitty is able to have an impromptu adventure!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes generally I am in town and available during most holidays. If I won’t be, my calendar will reflect that! 🥰
What is your favorite cat toy?
I like laser pointers because they’re especially great for shy or skittish kitties who really want to play but are afraid to get too close. My two other favorite toys are a wand that has a long curly ribbon dangling at the end of it and a toy-version of a fishing pole!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give timid or anxious cats their space and allow them to come out on their own time. I keep any potential sounds to a minimum and will quietly talk to them (even while they’re hiding) so they can hopefully get used to me over time. I always tell clients that I will do my best to send photo and video updates but only if the kitty is okay with it. 😺

Christie was the “purrfect” sitter. :) For the meet and greet she was punctual, thorough and thoughtful. During the reservation, she communicated well and shared photos which were appreciated. When we returned home, everything was so neat and tidy - the bowls were either washed or in the dishwasher along with any utensils. The litter box and area around it were so clean! Our cat is diabetic and Christie did a great job giving our cat his shots - he’d even come out to greet her. We’ll definitely have Christie take care of our cat again in the future.

Christie is SO personable and we chatted a lot about her own cats during the meet-and-greet, so knowing she's a fellow cat lover made us feel more comfortable leaving our precious kitties with a stranger. As for the sitting, she was very communicative and sent us updates with videos and pictures every day! She checked on our one shy kitty to make sure he was ok but didn't force him to come out which was perfect. She even did little housekeeping things for us like cleaning up food around the bowl (even we aren't good at keeping up with that!). I'd hire Christie again in a heartbeat!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Phoenix cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
