Having volunteering experience at cat rescues has given me a greater perspective to the diversity of cat personalities and needs. All cats have unique personalities and require different approaches to interaction. When spending time with yours, I will let them take the lead and not rush to form a connection... Hi there!🐾 Thanks for considering me for the opportunity to love and protect your kitties while you are away. Entrusting the care of your beloved kitties is a responsibility I do not take lightly. Cats are often mistakenly looked at as easy to care for creatures but we know that’s not true! Cats require and deserve stimulation and care that go beyond the basic necessities.

All cats have unique personalities and require different approaches to interaction. When spending time with yours, I will let them take the lead and not rush to form a connection. Building trust first and showing them I’m a loving presence that is here to make them as happy as they can be while their parents are away!
Regarding medication administration please inquire prior to booking. I do have experience giving ear drops, oral pills/ liquid medications, and limited experience with eyedrops. I do Not have experience with inhalers or injectionable medications.
Administrating medications may be dependent on your cats temperament as I am not a pro with harder to medicate kitties. If your kitty requires medications on a strict schedule, I please ask you inquire prior to booking due to possible work constraints.
My evening schedule can vary due to being in the service industry. When booking, I will inquire if there is any flexibility in evening visits. It’s possible I may not be able to visit your kitties until after 9pm. For overnight stays, I typically can stay until 9am.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I honestly love just hanging out with new kitties and making kitty friends! Earning a kitty’s trust and affection has to be one of the greatest feelings in the world.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My favorite kitty client is a VERY vocal, senior tabby girl. She drools excessively after receiving her medications and is the most gentle cat I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I truly love whenever her awesome mom/owner reaches out for a booking!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My two girls’ names are Papaya and Panini! Papaya is an all black ASH and Panini is a torishell ASH. Papaya is 8 years old and Panini is 2!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Don’t just settle for someone who’s available when you need them. I believe you should always try out different sitter options until you find someone who you and your cats really pair well with.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When working with a new cat parent, I will want to confirm certain details over Meowtel’s messaging platform prior to the sitting. 1. Gauge they have read and understand my services offered and discuss possible scheduling constraints. 2. Inquiry about medications and health issues if not listed in the profile. 3. Set up a meet and greet at the earliest convenience. 4. Answer and address any questions or concerns prior to scheduling a meet and greet.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I will always ask these 3 questions when booking with a new client. 1. Current and past medical isssues of all cats in the home. If yes, I will ask about your cat’s bathroom and feeding regularlities. If these are concerns, I will monitor and update you per visit. 2. Vet contact information if not already stated in the profile. 3. If the cats are door dashers or have any interest in going outside. If yes, how do they respond to being picked up and taken back inside. A fourth question I may ask if a client wants to leave a hidden key is the security of the neighborhood.
Are you usually available during holidays?
My availability is generally open around holidays and long weekends. I prefer to not leave town during holiday seasons as I work in the service industry.
What is your favorite cat toy?
The feather wand toy is a fan fave! Also gotta love the realistic bird toys that chirp. Let’s the kitties get into their primal side!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
When meeting with an anxious or timid cat there’s a few steps I make sure to take. First, I make sure to get low to the ground and typically I will close my eyes to not intimidate the kitty. I let the kitty inch closer and get some sniffs in if they desire. If the kitty does approach and sniff me I will peek my eyes open to assess their body language. I will usually put my hand out slow and low to see if they will want to sniff more. I will speak in my typical ‘kitty voice’ and give them some slow blinks if they have stayed close by. If they are play motivated, I would then use a long wand toy to initiate play while getting them more comfortable with my presence. If they are food motivated, I might also whip out a churu treat!

This is the second time Brooke has taken care of our kitties, and she was just as wonderful this time as last! We feel so comfortable leaving our babies with her, knowing that they will be in excellent, caring, and gentle hands. She spent plenty of play time with all three of them, and even our spicy, cranky tortie (with lots of torititude!) plays with her and is comfortable around her - something which is difficult to accomplish! She sent us plenty of videos and pictures every day to let us see how they were doing and was extremely responsive to all of our messages to her while we were gone. Moreover, Brooke went out of her way to make sure the kitties' areas were tidy and clean, that their water was fresh, litter boxes were cleaned, AND she also fed the outdoor strays we take care of while we are home. I highly recommend Brooke to anyone who is looking for a person they can trust and feel comfortable leaving their fur babies with.

Brooke took good care of my girls for a week. I received regular updates about all aspects of her visits and my senior girls - even busting open a bag of popcorn. Brooke played and brushed and gave skritches to them. Brooke was everything. We booked her for overnights M-F which is maybe a bit extra for a couple of cats but oh well. Our cats are odd. One hisses a bit and the other doesn’t make a peep. They are particular about people. Our last sitter would’ve even SEE them when she came over! Brooke was amazing with communication and updates and sent the right amount of texts, pics and videos! and by right amount, i mean a lot. and we loved all of it. Pretty sure my cats like her better than me. One of them is back to hiding in the closet all day while we’re home, so to try and lure her out I say “Brooke is here!” 😂 Anyway, definitely give Brooke a shot. But not when I need her!!

She also got my three kitties to line up for a family portrait with them all looking in the same direction! it's the best photo of them that I have 😁

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Phoenix cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

Brooke was great! We had a small medical concern pop up just before our trip and she was more than willing to help if necessary. She kept us updated and informed. Our kitty loved having her around. She even found him his new favorite bird video to watch, which he is now obsessed with. We are more than happy as was our kitty. Our cat is our baby and she took great care of him.

Brooke went above & beyond for my special kitty while I was out of town. She gave me updates (including cute pictures) each time she visited my kitty. She did a great job handling medications, diaper changes, and other difficult tasks, as my cat has some health issues. Wilson (the cat little guy) takes meds daily for anxiety and Brooke made sure he had everything he needed. I cannot recommend Brooke highly enough! From the very beginning, her communication was top-notch—she was responsive, kind, and kept me updated every step of the way with thoughtful messages and plenty of photos. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my cats were in such caring hands. Brooke was lovely to work with—professional, dependable, and genuinely warm. She followed all of my instructions perfectly, which made me feel confident that my cats’ routines were being respected and their needs met. What truly set Brooke apart, though, was the way she connected with my shy boy, Finn. He’s usually very reserved with new people, but somehow, Brooke managed to bring him out of his shell. It’s rare to find someone who has that kind of gentle, intuitive touch with animals. She’s a true gem, and I feel so lucky to have found her and definitely will be using her again. :)

I recently lost one of my cats so I now only have one and this was the first time Olive was completely alone. Brooke was amazing with our senior cats, This was the first trip away that our cats didn't spend the day and night telling us how horrible things were for them. They came out to see us and get pets & snacks but then went back to their normal routine (aka naptime). That is really amazing. Words can't express how that made me feel. Thanks just aren't enough.

This is the second time Brooke took care of our baby Gandy and just like the last time, everything was perfect! Gandy loves all the attention and we got lots of pictures! Brooke was able to accommodate our rather hectic schedule. She goes above and beyond!

Thanks Christian (& Olivia)☺️ Gandy is always such a chill floof and although he requires his 3 square meals a day he’s soo easy besides that! He just wants to hang ~ and maybe get a little catnip too 😝

Brooke was amazing! She took such great care of our fur babies. She stayed in constant contact with us & even sent pictures. Knowing my cats were being so well taken care of gave us peace of mind so we could enjoy our trip. I feel like she’s a member of the family now and my kitties can’t wait to see her again!

Brooke was amazing. I felt so comfortable leaving her with my cat while I was out of town. She played with him, snuggled, and made sure he was set with food/water/etc before leaving each time. If I need a sitter again, I will definitely be using Brooke!!

When I met Brook in our face to face I knew immediately she was the sitter for me. In addition, she got to know my cats, those that allowed lol, and they loved her so much,. particularly Sox. I am so, so happy I found her. She is my person moving forward. I can ot recommend her enough.

This week
my girlies don’t really like most people. it’s actually stressful to just have guests! but Brooke has some kind of power over my kitties and they totally accept her when she’s here. we can’t explain it. she sends the best pics and videos too. very responsive to texts. I’m not even sure my girls were happy we came home, they probably wished Brooke came back. I don’t ever want to use another sitter. so now I have to plan vacations around when she’s free 😬

Brooke did an amazing job looking after my 2 cats while I traveled. She sent daily updates and videos and was very attentive to detail! One of my cats is very shy with new people but warmed up to Brooke very quickly. Both cats were in a relaxed and happy mood when I got back. Thanks Brooke!!

Brooke is so wonderful! she’s so reliable and I trust her completely with the cats! I have multiple cats with different needs and she can do it all!! she’s a lovely person too and seems to really care and that’s important to me when I leave them in someone’s care. she’s seriously the best!!
