From the moment we read her bio, she had such a warm, kind, and almost angelic presence that immediately put us at ease. She cared for our senior cat, Mimi, with incredible patience, gentleness, and genuine love. Mimi isn't the easiest cat to win over—she can be a little intimidating at times! But Luanne took the time to earn her trust. She even seemed excited to have that personal challenge with our Mimi. She occasionally stayed longer than she needed to so Mimi wouldn't feel rushed or alone, gently gave her kisses (despite the very real possibility that Mimi might object! 😂), and even let Mimi smell her lunch (without knowing that I, too, love to do that when at home with Mims) while they spent time together. Those thoughtful little gestures made such a difference, and before long Mimi had warmed up to her. That's pretty much unheard of! Luanne kept us updated throughout our trip, giving us absolute peace of mind. Knowing Mimi was being cared for by someone who treated her with so much compassion allowed us to truly relax while we were away. When we came home, Mimi was happy, content, and clearly well cared for. You can teach someone how to complete pet care tasks, but you can't teach the kind of empathy and genuine love for animals that Luanne naturally has. "Denise was absolutely exceptional as our cat sitter. We’ve worked with her previously for drop-in visits, but this was our first time having her stay overnight, and it made a tremendous difference in our peace of mind while we were away. One of our cats, Colby, has chronic kidney disease and requires a very specific care routine, including subcutaneous fluids, medication, and a specialized diet. Denise handled all of this with confidence and expertise, clearly drawing from her veterinary/med tech background. She was also extremely thoughtful in managing the different dietary needs of both of our cats, ensuring everything was done correctly and consistently. Our other cat can be a bit more particular with new people, but Denise was incredibly patient, intuitive, and respectful of his personality—something we truly appreciated. It’s clear she has a natural ability to read and connect with animals. Throughout the stay, Denise provided excellent communication and updates, which gave us a lot of reassurance. We also came home to a spotless house and two very happy, well-cared-for cats. We trust Denise completely in our home and with our pets, and we will absolutely continue working with her. We’re so grateful to have found her."
