Al was booked five days before my trip and came to my home to review instructions a day and a half before I was leaving. I have two cats, one of whom is a senior with occasional bowel issues. During that visit she informed me of a $15 “clean-up fee,” which had not been communicated on her profile or prior to booking. After the visits, she claimed my senior cat made six messes and that my other cat killed a rat in the garage. No photos or documentation were provided to support these claims. I understand accidents can happen, especially with a senior cat, but without any documentation it was difficult to verify the additional charges. I was asked to pay an extra $90 ($15 each for 6 messes) beyond the agreed $176. What concerned me most was that my house key was withheld until the additional payment was made. This created significant discomfort and ultimately led me to replace my locks for peace of mind. Additionally, she asked whether we had cameras inside the home, which felt unusual and added to my unease. Overall, clearer communication, documentation of issues, and more professional handling of disputes would have made this experience very different.

Al is a dream! He's been so good taking care of my little goblin cat. Plays with him a ton, keeps me super updated about any health things that he notices, always has many nice things to say about my cat. I would hire him truly any time and absolutely have recommended him to friends/family. My cat loves him too! I think after me, Al might be his favorite person, hah.

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter
will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Cat parents will receive a full refund to their
Account Balance
if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
