What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat-sitting for good friends for years-6 years. My goal has always been to make sure the cats are behaving/eating normally and are content while their owners are away. I will stay and give them affection if they would like it, but also respect their boundaries if they would prefer to hide under the bed or a couch. I always do spend some time with them, either at a distance or comfortably on a couch or floor.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I really enjoy taking care of other cats because I know it puts their owners minds at ease. I make sure to send photos of the kitties and let their owners know that they are looking good and healthy.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat sitting experience has been with a male cat named Gracie. He has rarely come out of his little kennel when I come to check on him in the past, but he has gotten more outgoing and will come out of his box when I come to greet him. It has been a slow process, but he’s getting more comfortable and I’m happy that he is warming up to me. I realize he is a little more reserved, so I make sure to give him space when I visit him. He’s a sweetie. He’s just pretty shy.

Annette is the greatest sitter!! Omg. Book her immediately. She took such good care of my elderly cat. She sent lots of pictures, told us a detailed report of how he was doing each day, communicated with us on everything and ultimately left him in such good care. We came home to a cat that clearly had been taken care of and felt he had attention and love each day. She’s truly such a great sitter and we will definitely book with her again <3

Annette was absolutely amazing with our pets! Hamlet can be a bit high-energy and Fredo is very particular, but she handled both of them with so much patience and care. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
