Ultimately, I want your cat to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Every cat has their own personality, so I adjust to them rather than expecting them to adjust to me... Hi! I’m a lifelong cat lover who has had cats my entire life, and I currently own three. I’ve also cared for other people’s cats, including feeding, providing fresh water, and spending time playing and keeping them company. I am more than happy to clean the litter as well.
Ultimately, I want your cat to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Every cat has their own personality, so I adjust to them rather than expecting them to adjust to me. If your cat is shy or needs some time to warm up, I’m perfectly happy to give them space and let them come to me when they’re ready. And if your cat is playful, you better believe I can tire them out!
I’m calm, patient, attentive, and comfortable doing whatever is reasonably needed to help your cat feel at home without their owner there. I've personally been taking care of sick animals for a while now. So if your cat needs medicine daily, or has a disability/anxiety, I am fully equipped to handle their needs.
My goal is for you to feel comfortable knowing your cat is receiving loving, dependable care while you’re away.

I have three cats whom I've had for over 5 years now. I've also owned 3 cats previously. My eldest is Othello-Dallas, middle; Romeo-Austin, youngest; Caesar-Antonio.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Please look carefully at the description of what the cat sitter is willing to do and always ask questions. Some cat sitters may not be able to accommodate for the needs and personality of your cat.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am always available during holidays. I personally do not celebrate them, so any last minute holiday booking is perfectly fine for me!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- May 22-28: Memorial Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Chicago cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
