What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Contact a few sitters before choosing one. Find a sitter that you feel comfortable with and suits not only your needs, but also your furry friends. If the fit doesn't seem right, trust your gut.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I always do a thorough walkthrough to make sure cats are safe and accounted for, and check that doors and windows are secure. I'm trained to notice details and spot any changes in behavior or environment. Before I leave, I make sure no cats are trapped in any rooms and that doors to off-limits areas remain closed as requested. I'll follow your instructions exactly and will contact you immediately if anything seems off.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I am! I'm only unavailable for the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
